How it works
Prokeryx runs in your own Chrome browser, with the Facebook account you already use. Listings go out only as you direct: saved as drafts for you to review, or published on a schedule you set.
Enter the address of your used-vehicle page (the same page a customer browses), plus your name, phone number and how you like your descriptions worded.
Prokeryx goes through every page of your used inventory and reads each vehicle: year, make, model, trim, mileage, price, colors, transmission, engine, fuel economy and every photo. A vehicle with too little to go on, like a single photo or no advertised price, is flagged instead of listed.
Choose which vehicles to list. Prokeryx fills in Facebook's vehicle form, uploads the full-size photos, and saves each listing as a draft for you to check, or publishes them at an interval you set. Facebook's clean-title box is left for you to tick.
Why dealers use it
The original images from your website, up to Facebook's limit of 20 per listing, not screenshots. Studio shots against a branded backdrop are skipped by default.
Price, mileage, model and description are read back from Facebook's form before saving. If anything differs from your website, the vehicle is held for your review.
An entered VIN can lead Facebook to replace the year, make and model with its own decode. Prokeryx leaves the VIN field empty unless you switch it on.
Excellent under 30,000 miles, very good under 90,000, good above. Change the thresholds to match your own standards.
Facebook requires a mileage figure. If your website doesn't show one, or shows zero, the listing uses 999,999 as a placeholder and its first line tells the buyer to ask for the actual reading. Condition comes from your own setting, not from that number.

Photos, listings and buyer messages travel between your website, your browser and Facebook. Our licence server receives only your licence key, an identifier it issues to your computer, your website address, and each listed vehicle's VIN and whether Facebook confirmed it, which it uses to count listings. Each listing is posted from your own Facebook account, so Facebook's Terms and Commerce Policies apply to it as to any listing you post yourself.
